Is technology helping or hindering when it comes to overcoming communication barriers in health care?

In my opinion technology is helping to overcome communication barriers in health care. Technology helps nurses to communicate on a better level about patients and reduces time wasted documenting increasing patient communication. Nurses can be aware of patient’s conditions and change in health at all times even when not within the hospital. This can be done through online documenting which can only be accessed through a username and password given to medical associates through the hospital. Technology also reduces the time that nurses take to document patient care. This frees up more time for communication with patients and creating a better nurse-client relationship. Technology helps to improve communication between colleagues and nurse-client communication.
